Friday, Saturday and Sunday camping
Friday, Saturday AND Sunday camping is included in the full weekend ticket price.
SORRY BUT THERE IS NO CAMPING AVAILABLE FOR SATURDAY DAY VISITORS, YOU WILL NEED A FULL WEEKEND ADULT TICKET IF YOU WISH TO CAMP ON SATURDAY
Tickets purchased for the Sunday also include one nights camping.
ALL UNDER 18’S MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PAYING ADULT
All individual camping pitch sizes are approximately 6m wide x 7m deep although there are areas onsite that may have larger spaces. If you wish to camp next to friends, we will try to arrange this on arrival.
Club camping pitch sizes will vary according to the amount of vehicles per club.
VW club camping areas
If you are a member of a VW club then you can book a camping area exclusively for your group. Club camping areas are only available when booking weekend tickets. Please book your free club camping pitch on our ticket page.
Please remember only book 1 pitch per vehicle not 1 pitch per person.
Food, drink and fires in the camping areas
We do ask our guests not to bring any glass on site for health and safety reasons Please feel free to enjoy your own alcoholic drinks but no bottles or glassware in the licensed bar areas at any time. Please dispose of all waste in the areas provided. No Sky/Chinese lanterns can be bought or used anywhere on site during the weekend. These stipulations are an important part of our licence.
We do not envisage any problems during our festival, however, for everyone’s comfort and safety, we do employ a very discreet security firm to help look after us over the weekend. They will not tolerate any disruptive or abusive behaviour towards staff or fellow festival goers, just loads of good old family fun!
We have a number of large skips and litter drop off points nearby for all campers, day visitors and traders to dispose of their own waste.
We will be doing 3 tours every day with our rubbish trailer so please feel free to put your waste on the trailer as we pass through.
Please help us keep the site tidy. It was very good in 2017. Thank you! In the interest of safety we do politely ask you not to bring any glass on site.
Campsite access times
Campsite access is from midday on Friday.
Gates will be locked between 9pm and 9 am. If you need to get in or out between these times please bear this in mind.
Visitors to leave site by 10am on Monday.
Strictly no vehicle movement onsite between 9pm and 9am, park up and stay parked.
There is a strict 5 mph maximum speed limit onsite at all times.
Please obey all signage throughout your stay.
PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE AT CHELTENHAM RACECOURSE FOR CAMPING ON THE FRIDAY BEFORE 9 A.M. AS WE CAN NOT OPEN THE OUTER SOUTHAM LANE GATE BEFORE THIS TIME. IF YOU DO, YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT OUTSIDE THE VENUE ON SOUTHAM LANE WHICH IS A VERY NARROW ROAD, AND THIS WILL CREATE AN UNNECESSARY HAZARD ON THE ROAD. IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY, PLEASE BARE IN MIND, THAT THE OUTER GATES WILL NOT BE OPENED BEFORE 9 AM, AND PLAN YOUR JOURNEY ACCORDINGLY.
Please select a free family camping pitch on our ticket page if you are looking for a pitch amongst other families, with no loud noise permitted after 10pm.
PLEASE BEAR IN MIND NOISE WILL TRAVEL AND THERE WILL BE AMPLIFIED MUSIC UNTIL 11PM.
Toilets and showers
Once again we have plenty of quality, well maintained, serviced toilets on site. A portaloo disposal unit will be available on general, club and family camps for your convenience.
Guests are respectfully reminded NOT to pour waste from your potaloo into the WC’s.
It fills them too quickly, causes problems and distress to other guests.
Once again we have provided hot showers for you to enjoy at your leisure, between 7am and 7pm at a cost of £3 per shower.
Well behaved dogs and owners are most welcome! Dogs must be kept on lead at all times, and all ‘doggy business’ must be collected in bags and disposed of in bins. There are drinking bowls around the site and don’t forget our dog agility and show arena is open on Saturday and Sunday. For their comfort etc, no dogs allowed in the main entertainment marquee after 7pmas there are so many people dancing/loud music etc.
Adult wristbands must be worn at all times for both weekend and day visitors. Any adult without a wristband will be asked to leave the site immediately.
